This guide will walk you through on how to reset your Core Desktop Password and setup Self-Service Password Reset.


1. Reset your password via Web Portal.


    a. Browse to https://control.core.vc/ 


    b. Here you will need to sign in using your Email address and Current Password. 

    c. Once you have signed in click on the the "Change Password" Button 


    c. You will be access to enter in your Old Password and the New Password your will like to set to your account.

        If you would like a password Generated for you then you can click on the Generate option.


Note: Your need password has to follow our password policy. To View this click on Password Policy to see the requirements for you new password. 


    d.  Once you have entered your New Password and have confirmed it click OK to reset.

2. Setting up Self-Service Password Reset.


    a. Once you have logged into https://control.core.vc/ 

    b. Click on the "Enroll Now" Button 


    c. You will be asked to fill your answers for the 3 security questions you select.


    d. When you have completed the form successfully you will get the below notification

    e.  You will now be able to use the "Forgot your password?" option on the login page of https://control.core.vc/

    f. You will asked for Human Verification


    g. Once you you completed the Human Verification will be asked to fill in your 3 Security Questions.

    h. When you have successfully answered the security questions. you will now be prompted to reset your password.
